Baseball Recap: Norris Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Norris had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Blair on Friday. The Titans put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Titans have won six matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Eli Starner looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Crew Moeller was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Fredenburg, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Norris always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blair only posted an OBP of .321.

Norris' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Blair, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
