The Warroad Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Grand Forks Green Wave at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Warroad knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully the Green Wave like a good challenge.
In what's become a running theme this season, Warroad gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against Crookston as Warroad made off with a 70-50 victory.
Meanwhile, East Grand Forks pushed their score all the way to 73 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Park Rapids 79-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (63), East Grand Forks still had to take the loss.
Warroad's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for East Grand Forks, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
Warroad was taken down by the Green Wave 79-44 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Warroad avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
