This season hasn't been kind to the Greenville Christian Eagles, who are still winless after their fourth match. They had to suffer through a rough 68-35 loss at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy. Greenville Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.
Trinity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Dyck led the charge by going 7 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 0 assists. The game was Dyck's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Luke Rolen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine assists and eight rebounds.
Greenville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville Christian will square off against Lakehill Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Lakehill Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. Trinity Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bonham at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
