The Tecumseh Braves were the 56-50 winner over the Lanesville Eagles when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Tecumseh falling 45-26. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lanesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eli Guernsey, who scored seven points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guernsey has scored all season. Braydon Hodges was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Tecumseh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lanesville, their victory bumped their record up to 1-8.
Tecumseh will be playing at home against Southridge at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Southridge will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Lanesville is on the road again on Friday and play against South Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. South Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lanesville in Indiana (South Central is ranked 169th, while Lanesville is ranked 405th).
