The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Forest Lake Christian in their matchups with Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning: they've now lost three in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Brendan Hooper, who scored 21 points along with three steals. That was a full 44.7% of Forest Lake Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Fenton, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five blocks.
Sacramento Waldorf has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 68-50 fall against Foresthill on Tuesday.
Forest Lake Christian's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Sacramento Waldorf, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-7 record this season.
