After three games on the road, Hallsville is heading back home. They will take on the Capital City Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Hallsville beat Harrisburg 75-66. Given Hallsville's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Harrisburg is ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Capital City posted their biggest victory since November 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 63-43 margin over Southern Boone.
Hallsville's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Capital City, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Hallsville strolled past Capital City when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 64-49. Does Hallsville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Capital City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
