Outlook:
After losing to Corona Del Mar in the state finals two years ago,
Sacred Heart Prep went undefeated last regular season with a win in the Central
Section Open Division, but did not get invited to the state bowl games.
This year, the Gators return with an explosive offense that put up 56
points on unbeaten McClymonds (Oakland) and has a quarterback in Mason
Randall who has thrown for 2,646 yards. Rancho Bernardo also has plenty
of weapons as quarterback Mark Salazar has thrown for 2,063 yards and
running back Milan Grice has run for 1,742.
