The Pacific Grove Breakers will head out on the road to take on the Watsonville Wildcatz at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pacific Grove has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matchups.
Pacific Grove pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 62-55 to Marina.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from William Powley, who scored nine points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Brody Edmonds, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, even though St. Francis scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, Watsonville still came out on top. Watsonville snuck past St. Francis with a 66-60 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Watsonville.
Pacific Grove's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Watsonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.
