Last Friday, Knoxville A was able to grind out a solid victory over the Pirates, taking the game 67-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Knoxville A.
Meanwhile, CSTHEA can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Rocket City 77-52. The win was familiar territory for CSTHEA who now have six in a row.
CSTHEA's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Deschaine, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Deschaine has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Swanson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
Knoxville A's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for CSTHEA, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-15 record this season.
Knoxville A suffered a grim 96-75 defeat to the Patriots when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Knoxville A avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
