Meanwhile, Argonaut didn't have quite enough to beat Hughson on Monday and fell 3-2.
Kendall Baker was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Baker was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
In other batting news, Bri Bowers made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.
