Two weeks ago, Hampton Roads Academy lost to Virginia Episcopal School by a decisive 12-32 margin. Hampton Roads Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Simon Boyer, who picked up 62 yards on the ground and accumulated 137 passing yards.
Meanwhile, their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to St. Anne's-Belfield, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They put a hurting on Kenston Forest to the tune of 42-6.
St. Anne's-Belfield's win lifted them to 1-2 while Hampton Roads Academy's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if St. Anne's-Belfield can add another positive mark to their record or if Hampton Roads Academy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of St. Anne's-Belfield's step.
