After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Flint Hill, Potomac School was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Potomac School got a great performance from Gavin Speigel as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Jake Adamec was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Potomac School's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 5-7 when he doesn't). Jason Seeber was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Potomac School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Potomac School pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Coming up, Potomac School will challenge Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Andrew's Episcopal will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' contest: after the Panthers face off against the Hawks, they'll take on St. Andrew's Episcopal again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
