After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridge Point, Fort Bend Travis was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Fort Bend Elkins Knights 20-1. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

Fort Bend Travis' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6-1. As for Fort Bend Elkins, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Travis will square off against Fort Bend Austin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Austin will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Fort Bend Travis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Bend Elkins, they will face off against Fort Bend Bush at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Elkins has given up an average of 14.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
