After a string of four wins, Tolar's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to the Hermleigh Cardinals 41-37. The Rattlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Tolar's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Hermleigh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-3.

Tolar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-31 victory against San Saba on the 27th. As for Hermleigh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 37-31 win against New Deal on the 27th.
