The Parrish Community Bulls came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 55-43 win over Lemon Bay. The score was all tied up 12-12 at the break, but Parrish Community was the better team in the second half.
Parrish Community got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malakai Cuffy out in front who scored 12 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. Cuffy hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Dylan Higgins was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Parrish Community pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Lemon Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Parrish Community will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Lakewood Ranch at 7:30 p.m. As for Lemon Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against Imagine School at North Port at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
