Tyler let Valley stack five runs on them in the second inning on Tuesday but luckily Tyler prevailed anyway. The Knights came out on top against the Lumberjacks by a score of 10-9 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-6 last Monday.

Rylee Butler and Isabella Pratt did most of the damage at the plate: Butler went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Pratt went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most RBI Butler has posted since back in April. Holly Johnson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Tyler always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are 3-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Tyler's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Tyler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will welcome Williamstown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
