After flying high against Okawville on Wednesday, Greenville came back down to earth. The Comets took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nashville Hornets on Thursday. The Comets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 25-4. As for Nashville, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nashville, they will square off against Wesclin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
