Given Brewbaker Tech's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while LAMP is ranked 393rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brewbaker Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tariya Respicio, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kennedi Mcghee, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Brewbaker Tech's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for LAMP, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brewbaker Tech won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rutherford at 5:00 p.m. on December 16th.
