Adding to the longest winning streak in WPIAL AAAA Southeastern this week, Upper St. Clair beat Plum 54-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Mt. Lebanon and Penn Hills played the closest game in the league this week, with Mt. Lebanon eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory. Eddie Jenkins threw for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 32 yards during the win.
Eric Kinderman was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Blue Devils bested the Indians. The 6-foot-2 senior racked up 1 sack.
He went 15-21 with 1 interception.
Jenkins put up the best numbers in passing as Mt. Lebanon defeated Penn Hills. Jenkins' favorite target this week was Troy Apke, who caught 8 passes for 148 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback Joe Repischak of Upper St. Clair is the league leader in passing yards this season with 833. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Apke. The Mt. Lebanon star has 38 catches for 667 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when John Peterman's team takes on Woodland Hills. The Indians are currently in third, while the Wolverines are in second.
Jim Render's team took down the Mustangs 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Repischak threw for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 50 yards in the win.
