After both having extra time off, the Fort Loramie Redskins and the Bradford Railroaders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fort Loramie has six straight wins, Bradford has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Russia came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Fort Loramie, but Addie Barhorst wouldn't allow it. The Redskins won by a set and slipped past the Raiders 3-2 thanks in part to Barhorst, who had 13 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.
Fort Loramie was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-14, 19-25, 16-25, 25-11, 15-7.
Meanwhile, Bradford lost 3-0 to Covington on Monday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 25-15.
Fort Loramie's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Fort Loramie has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9 aces per game. However, it's not like Bradford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Fort Loramie's way against Bradford in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, as Fort Loramie made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Railroaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
