After flying high against Northeast last Thursday, Seminole came back down to earth. The Seminole Warhawks lost 66-41 to the Countryside Cougars on Monday. Despite the defeat, Seminole had strong showings from Riley Turknett, who posted 13 points and five assists, and Aubrey Close, who earned 15 points and three steals. Close is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 12 games she's played. Countryside was led to victory by Chelsea Howell and Alyssa Wright. Howell went 7 of 10 on her way to 17 points and four steals, while Wright went 5 for 10 en route to 19 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds.
