Notre Dame Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They didn't even let Mountain Pointe onto the board and left with a 8-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Notre Dame Prep has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Chaparral didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Desert Mountain on Thursday. Their tough 3-0 loss to Desert Mountain might stick with them for a while. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Chaparral couldn't push the score so high this time.
Notre Dame Prep's win bumped their record up to 4-5-2. As for Chaparral, they bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Notre Dame Prep suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Chaparral in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Notre Dame Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
