Meanwhile, Chaparral didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Desert Mountain on Thursday. Their tough 3-0 loss to Desert Mountain might stick with them for a while. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Chaparral couldn't push the score so high this time.
Notre Dame Prep's win bumped their record up to 4-5-2. As for Chaparral, they bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
