Sun Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Mecklenburg Eagles. On the bright side, the 58- point performance marked the Spartans' highest-scoring game to date.

Sun Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for East Mecklenburg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sun Valley will face off against Parkwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Mecklenburg, they will square off against North Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
