Pigeon Forge came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Sevier County Smoky Bears. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Smoky Bears back in February, they had to take a 5-1 defeat.

Pigeon Forge's record now sits at 6-1. As for Sevier County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
