Edgerton is a perfect 3-0 against Stryker since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Edgerton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
Edgerton was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Edon on Saturday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Bombers. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cory Herman made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Edgerton got a massive performance out of Noah Weaver, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Weaver a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddox Baker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Edgerton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Stryker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Pettisville, falling 15-5.
William Donovan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Stryker's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Edgerton, their record now sits at 11-9.
Everything went Edgerton's way against Stryker in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Edgerton made off with a 19-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
