Meanwhile, Creighton took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Wakefield last week as they made off with a 62-38 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-16.
Their wins bumped Clearwater/Orchard to 1-0 and Creighton to 1-0. Creighton's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Clearwater/Orchard defensive front that amassed 4.0 sacks against Neligh-Oakdale, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
