The ASSETS Admirals lost against the Hawaiian Mission Academy Knights last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. ASSETS lost to Hawaiian Mission Academy on the road by a decisive 56-37 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for ASSETS in their matchups with Hawaiian Mission Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Hawaiian Mission Academy can attribute much of their success to Rodnyl Tuscano, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Tuscano scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Slade, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
ASSETS bumped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Hawaiian Mission Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ASSETS will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
