Fans got a thrill when Derek Reeves and Chase Mcwhirt connected against Miami. The longest such play in 4A District 3 this season, the connection resulted in 58 yards.
Wagoner added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oologah, 42-28. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Thanks to the talents of Reeves and Dakota Hewitt, Cleveland has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Reeves is tops in the league in passing with 943 yards, while Hewitt has rushed for 845 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is the Wardogs' Ty Mercer, with 353 yards on 20 catches.
The Tigers' offense has racked up 180 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Wagoner has allowed only 105 on the year.
The Bulldogs are currently in first, while Cleveland is in fifth.
McLain Science & Tech led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Webster.
