In other batting news, MJ Molina was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Israel Allen was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Pueblo South always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo Centennial only posted an OBP of .250.
Glenwood Springs pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Pueblo South, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
