This season hasn't been kind to the Tenoroc Titans, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were dealt a 36-7 defeat at the hands of Horizon on Thursday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Horizon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Andrulouis, who scored 4 points along with 5 steals. Andrulouis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaria Mccrimon, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Tenoroc's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.8 points per game. As for Horizon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tenoroc will challenge McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully McKeel Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Thursday. Horizon will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Central Florida Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th. Central Florida Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
