Given Shenandoah Valley Academy's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 173rd in Virginia, while Collegedale Academy is ranked 359th in Tennessee), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Avery Browne continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Shenandoah Valley Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Pelote, who scored six points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Eukarya Christian Academy suffered a rough 50-30 defeat at the hands of Grace Christian last Thursday. Eukarya Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Shenandoah Valley Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Eukarya Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
