Vanessa Vancott continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mater Lakes Academy, scoring 34 points along with nine rebounds. The matchup was Vancott's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alessandra Wandembergh, who scored eight points along with eight steals.
Stoneman Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mater Lakes Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Boyd Anderson the next time they take the court. Mater Lakes Academy will head out to face Boyd Anderson at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Stoneman Douglas will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
