Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Millard South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-51 win over Keokuk. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 15th in Nebraska, while the Chiefs are ranked 92nd in Iowa), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Millard West better keep an eye on Bernie Anderson. He was instrumental in Millard South's win, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Koby Meyers, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Millard West hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 60.1 points per game. However, it's not like Millard South struggles in that department as they've been averaging 68.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Millard West came up short against Millard South when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 69-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Millard South's Isaac Jensen, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 24 points. Now that Millard West knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
