Like Biglerville, Bermudian Springs also got a great game from a two-way player: C Kittinger. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Biglerville hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bermudian Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Biglerville's way against Bermudian Springs when the teams last played back in March, as Biglerville made off with an 18-11 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Canners since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
