Javarion Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Huss's Javarion Brown, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brown rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 154 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.8) per game. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
Huss is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face West Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Patrick Blee's Big Game Leads South Point over Huss
South Point picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Patrick Blee. Blee was unstoppable, rushing for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 48 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Huss, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Blee. Blee rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in September of 2023.

Another South Point player making an appearance on this list is Chanyce Ford. He made seven total tackles.

Jayden Gash Turns in Season-Best Effort
Jayden Gash produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Kings Mountain to the win on Friday. Gash picked up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 69 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Kings Mountain, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Gash and Kings Mountain will square off against East Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
