The Jefferson Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 23 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Elysian Fields 64-37 on the road. With Jefferson ahead 36-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Despite the loss, Elysian Fields still got an impressive performance from McKenzie LeBlanc, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. LeBlanc continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayley Whitehead, who scored five points.
Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Elysian Fields, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-20.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Daingerfield the next time they take the court. Jefferson will host Daingerfield at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th, while Elysian Fields will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th.
