Despite the loss, Sheets Memorial Christian saw an underclassman step up: Finn Everhart scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Everhart has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.
Sheets Memorial Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Covenant Classical, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.
Sheets Memorial Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Non Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Non Varsity Opponent has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Covenant Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
