The biggest upset of the week belonged to Walhalla, who took down 148th ranked Walhalla, 21-14.
Daniel was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Belton-Honea Path. The Lions came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 29 last week.
Seneca's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Spencer Brothers threw for 245 and two touchdowns and Dorian Raines had 207 yards receiving. On the ground Marquis Arnold chipped in 185 yards. Nakia Burke-Littles helped Seneca's passing attack out by catching two balls for 69 yards.
The Bobcats' Brothers and Raines have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading AAA Region I in both passing and receiving yards. Brothers has thrown for 1104 yards this season, while Raines has 48 catches for 895 yards. Korey Thompson from the Bears leads the league in rushing with 850 yards.
There should be lots of points scored when Belton-Honea Path and Seneca face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Russell Blackston's team comes in having scored 247 this season, while Bradley Martin's team has scored 268. The Bears scored 3 points last week as they lost to Daniel.
Randy Robinson's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Belton-Honea Path, 29-3. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
