It was a good run, but Graham unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 45-24 to the Bowie Jackrabbits. While losing is never fun, the Steers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 769th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 360th).

Graham's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Bowie, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Graham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-43 defeat against Hereford on the 13th. As for Bowie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-31 victory against Breckenridge on the 13th.
