The Beaver Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Allegheny Indians at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Last Tuesday, Beaver needed a bit of extra time to put away Blackhawk. They had just enough and edged the Cougars out  6-5. The  victory was some much needed relief for Beaver as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Maddox Tanner was  incredible,  going 2-for-5 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  RJ Sebek, who  went 3-for-4 with  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, West Allegheny entered their tilt with Montour with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans  on Wednesday and snuck past  5-3. That's two games straight that West Allegheny has won by  exactly two  runs.
 Beaver's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-11. As for West Allegheny, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season.
