On Tuesday, the Campolindo Cougars kept a clean sheet against the Ygnacio Valley Wolves. They put the hurt on Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Campolindo who now have three in a row.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Paulo Trento and
Brendan Baldelli, who scored all three of Campolindo's goals. The pair have combined for a total of nine so far this season.
Campolindo pushed their record up to 9-8-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ygnacio Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7-2.
Campolindo will be playing at home against Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ygnacio Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Miramonte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miramonte's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
