Ardrey Kell and Myers Park are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Ardrey Kell Knights will welcome the Myers Park Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ardrey Kell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.
Ardrey Kell's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Berry as Ardrey Kell made off with a 21-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Jenna Volturno looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Tessa Sanchez-Barrios was incredible, scoring four runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Reilly Cusimano was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Ardrey Kell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .607. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Myers Park came up short against Legion Collegiate Academy on Tuesday and fell 5-2.
Anna Eason spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Myers Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Regan Godman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ryann Rempson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Ardrey Kell's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Myers Park, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Myers Park's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ardrey Kell hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .372. It's a different story for Myers Park, though, as they've only averaged .226. Will they be able to contain Ardrey Kell's hitters?
