The Hardin-Central Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Southwest Wildcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Hardin-Central took down Southwest 48-32.
Southwest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Grant Warren, who scored 12 points along with seven steals. That was a full 37.5% of Southwest's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Larson, who scored four points along with 15 rebounds and two blocks.
Hardin-Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Southwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.
Hardin-Central will head out on the road to square off against Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
