Headland hadn't done well against Providence Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-2. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Headland is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games.
