The Curlew Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Oakesdale on the road and fell 75-47.
Curlew's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Logan Thompson, who scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds, and Evan Olson who scored 14 points. The contest was Thompson's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Curlew's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Oakesdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
Curlew will head out on the road to face off against Republic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakesdale, they will be playing at home against Wellpinit at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
