Stafford is 2-8 against Sweeny since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Stafford Spartans will be playing at home against the Sweeny Bulldogs at 6:30  p.m. Given that  the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Stafford suffered their biggest  defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Iowa Colony, falling  68-25. Stafford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-13.
 Meanwhile, Sweeny struggled with  offensive rebounds on Friday (Brazosport had 19 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Sweeny received a tough blow  as they fell  55-39 to Brazosport.
  Hailey Eulenfeld put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 12  rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's  played.
 Stafford has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost ten of their last 12 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Sweeny, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 17-8.
 Stafford suffered a grim  47-22 defeat to Sweeny  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023. The  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Stafford was down  27-7.
