SIMON Came Up Big in Service's 26-6 Loss
Starting off the list is Service's NORA SIMON, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. SIMON rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Her rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her fifth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
If history really does repeat itself, SIMON might just drop another big game when she faces off against Chugiak on Saturday. Back in September (the last time SIMON saw the Mustangs), she rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.

Ariel Misa Delivers Best Effort of Season
West Anchorage was led to victory by Ariel Misa, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Saturday. Misa threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win was the fourth in a row for West Anchorage, bringing their record for this year to 12-3. Misa and West Anchorage will host Eagle River at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
