Army-Navy will face off against Rock Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Army-Navy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Guajome Park Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Frogs an 11-0 shutout last Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jacob Hester made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over 5.1 innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Army-Navy is 2-1 when Hester posts two or more runs, but 3-12 otherwise.
In other batting news, Ashton Little was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Army-Navy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-13 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Chun-Hsiang Chang, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Rock Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Frogs by a score of 7-2.
Like Army-Navy, Rock Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Max Gimbel. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Gimbel was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Quentin Uhland, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Brady Olson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.
Rock Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Army-Navy, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Army-Navy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Rock Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Army-Navy couldn't quite finish off Rock Academy when the teams last played back in April and fell 7-5. Can Army-Navy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
