When it comes to explaining why Our Lady of the Sun Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joseph Reiss. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 58.1% of Our Lady of the Sun Academy's points, marking the 15th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. John Reiss was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Imagine Prep Coolidge and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Imagine Prep Coolidge is on the road again on Thursday and plays the at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Skyline - Gila River is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
