When it comes to explaining why Our Lady of the Sun Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joseph Reiss. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 58.1% of Our Lady of the Sun Academy's points, marking the 15th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. John Reiss was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Imagine Prep Coolidge and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Imagine Prep Coolidge is on the road again on Thursday and plays the at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st.
