The Casa Roble Rams will take on the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Casa Roble is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Casa Roble barely beat Del Campo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went Casa Roble's way against Del Campo on Thursday as Casa Roble made off with an 18-2 win. The Rams have beaten the Cougars the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.
Cassandra Alvarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, Casa Roble let Alyssa Godwin and Zaria Gee run wild. Godwin went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Gee scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4. Those two runs gave Godwin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lilly Gonzales, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one double.
Casa Roble hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Del Oro put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Sheldon by a score of 5-1. Five seems to be a good number for the Golden Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Mikayla Finn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kate Brown 2026 was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI. Avyn Brower was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Del Oro's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Casa Roble, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Casa Roble hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. However, it's not like Del Oro struggles in that department as they've averaged .407. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Casa Roble skirted past Del Oro 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2016. Will Casa Roble repeat their success, or does Del Oro have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
